Qview announces the release of Version 4.1.5 starting in December 2025
November 18, 2025
Cross‑Registry Data Integration and Interoperability for Qview (cross-check feature)
This new feature enables secure import, normalization, and cross-validation of tabular data from major clinical registries– including ACS, NSQIP, and Vizient — to improve quality measurement, reporting, and research. By storing harmonized datasets and supporting robust patient matching across systems, Qview accelerates quality professionals’ workflows, strengthens data integrity, and enhances the tracking of outcomes and adverse events.
Key capabilities
- Cross-dataset quality checks and record linkage
- Performs cross-registry reconciliation to detect outliers (e.g., complications, readmissions, mortality).
- Secure data storage for longitudinal analytics
- Stores versioned snapshots of imported datasets for reuse in future reports, audits, and trend analyses.
- Enables rapid re‑runs of quality and research measures without re‑ingestion, saving substantial analyst time and reducing manual error.
- Enhanced research and reporting
- Improves statistical power and external validity by linking multiple registries and care settings, supporting robust tracking of disease trends, outcomes, and adverse events.
- Strengthened interoperability
- Aligns with widely adopted standards (e.g., HL7) to streamline exchange and harmonization of data sets.
- Improves patient-matching accuracy across multiple EHRs and registries—addressing a major barrier to data quality and safety.
Why this matters (impact):
- Efficiency: Reduces manual data wrangling for quality professionals and researchers, enabling faster turnaround for dashboards, accreditation reports, and manuscript-grade analyses.
- Data integrity: Cross-checking and linkages improve completeness and internal consistency, reducing bias from single-source datasets.
- Better outcomes surveillance: More accurate complication, readmission, and mortality tracking enables earlier detection of safety signals and quality gaps.
- Interoperability readiness: Standards-aligned architecture positions organizations to meet evolving regulatory and payer reporting requirements.

Get Better Data With Less Work
Sound impossible? Not with Qview.
Qview captures physician-reported adverse event and disease management data that’s relevant to providers and administrators alike. Configurable at the department and specialty level, Qview provides the flexibility clinicians want within a standardized framework that hospitals need. Fostering a culture of collaboration and shared learning, Qview makes it easier to get everyone on board with quality improvement.
Qview Gets Results
UC Davis Health studied the feasibility of division-wide peer-reviewed mortality reviews using Qview’s electronic protected health information platform. Of the 59 physicians that participated, most found Qview to be user-friendly and efficient, believing division-wide collaboration improves the group’s culture around patient safety and quality.

Is Qview Right for You?
Turn meaningful real-time data into actionable quality improvement plans
Qview is for hospitals and healthcare systems looking to implement institution-wide case and peer review standards while capturing adverse event and incident reporting data that is equally relevant to physicians, nurses, and administrators.
Qview is especially valuable if:
- your current incident reporting system isn’t capturing high-harm or compensable events
- physician-reported data isn’t well captured
- providers are severely behind on case reviews
- physicians perceive the current case or peer review process as punitive
- Your current system can’t meet the heavy demands of infectious disease management
- Interdepartmental case referrals aren’t happening in a timely or comprehensive manner
- Standardization and consistency is lacking
- You are using paper-based systems or capture information in Excel, Access or other softwares that don’t talk to the EMR
- You capture events but that effort doesn’t lead to meaningful change in quality outcomes
